Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection—is Bubsy a famous icon of the early '90s mascot wars or just a platforming punchline?
The Limited Run Games team has created a new collection to find out.
Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection explores the troubled history of the franchise and its lasting popularity. Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection is a playable story that includes games, artifacts, and interviews.
All games have been carefully updated for modern platforms using Limited Run's proprietary Carbon Engine.
Leading the project is Audi Sorlie, producer, writer, Bubsy heavyweight world champion, and arguably the world's first expert on the furry franchise.
In collaboration with the Limited Run and Atari teams, he has created the ultimate retrospective celebration of Bubsy, the 36.3 kg red lynx standing 1.9 meters tall.

What is the Carbon Engine?
Created in-house at Limited Run Games, the Carbon Engine is a development tool that enables porting legacy content to modern platforms.
It uses emulation as a base, on which the Carbon Engine builds features like user interface, rendering, audio, data management, controller inputs, and console-specific SDK features such as trophies.
It allows Limited Run to deliver highly accurate, emulation-based ports of classic games for modern hardware.
