Doggerland was a land connecting Great Britain to continental Europe, submerged by the North Sea after the last Ice Age. Humans lived on these fertile lands teeming with resources and animals.
In Doggerland, you play as a clan around 15,000 BCE. Your goal: to develop your clan to leave a mark of its existence for centuries to come. Players increase their population, craft handmade objects, paint murals in caves, erect megaliths for the gods, and, above all, survive the harsh seasons. To do this, they explore the surrounding territory and adapt to the resources available. The territory is different each game thanks to modular tiles.
Each turn, players program their actions and then execute them. These actions vary depending on the resources available, their abundance or scarcity around their villages, and also based on the actions of other players. Over time, resources deplete, and clans must migrate to find what they need for their development and survival.
Within each clan, a chief grants bonuses, and a shaman enables powerful and unique actions through their knowledge and magic. After 6 to 8 seasons, the clan with the most points wins the game.
