HEROES OF RUIN uses StreetPass to create an innovative in-game merchant network, allowing players to buy and sell rare and powerful items obtained in combat.
With an ever-evolving inventory, updated with each public pass of a player, the strengths and abilities of characters can be significantly enhanced by accessing items from other players' games.
Outside the game, HEROES OF RUIN uses SpotPass to reward players with rare items or unique challenges via local Wi-Fi access points. The official HEROES OF RUIN community website will also reward players with daily challenges and quests to complete in-game.
Thanks to social networking features, the site will also offer players a platform to meet other players, exchange ideas and items, and team up in-game.
