After receiving an invitation to stay at a luxurious hotel, Luigi prepares to spend an idyllic vacation with Mario and his friends.
The dream quickly turns into a nightmare when King Boo reveals that it was all a ploy to capture Mario and his companions! Once again assisted by the wacky Professor K. Tastroff, it's up to the most cowardly of the reckless to venture into the exploration of a hotel that has nothing to do with an ideal destination...
Play as Luigi and go ghost hunting with your ghost vacuum cleaner: the Ectoblast GL-U! For the first time, also call on Gooigi, a green and slimy duplicate of Luigi, to help you overcome insurmountable obstacles on your own.
Play solo, switching between Luigi and Gooigi to solve puzzles, or co-op and each control a character. With family or friends, play up to 8 players and try to solve the missions of the Haunted Tower!

CHILLER THAN EVER, BUT WELL EQUIPPED!
Play as Luigi and go in search of ghosts in the different rooms of the haunted hotel
- Explore and search the different rooms to catch ghosts. Vacuum an enemy with your Ectoblast GL-U to capture and neutralize them
- Are you being attacked? Defend yourself by catching a ghost and use it as a weapon to attack other ghosts!
- Something in your way? Use your Suction Cup Launcher to grab and move it!
- Too many enemies around you? Unleash your gust to scare away the ghosts!
WHAT IS STRONGER THAN A LUIGI? TWO LUIGI!
Team up with the latest invention of the ingenious Professor K. Tastroff, Gooigi, a duplicate of Luigi!
- In your solo hunt, alternate between Luigi and Gooigi to solve the puzzles in front of you! Use his unique abilities to pass through bars, walk on spikes... but beware, this slimy Luigi can't stand water!
- A second player joins the adventure? Combine the skills of both characters: each use a JoyCon to control Luigi and Gooigi, at the same time, to flush out those ghost pranksters together!
