Just like on a real course, you will need to carefully study the wind and the terrain before hitting.
Fortunately, you can rely on several features to assist you, such as the power gauge that allows you to see the influence of slopes on your shot, or a scanner that allows you to examine the terrain in detail.
For action enthusiasts, two new features: in Speed Golf mode, everyone plays at the same time, then runs across the course to reach their ball before hitting it again, and so on, while in Battle Golf mode, players compete in an arena and must be the fastest to sink three balls before the others.
A story mode also allows you to embody a novice Mii in golf, and it is possible to play with up to three other players, both locally and online.
