From the critically acclaimed director, Hideo Kojima, here is METAL GEAR SOLID SNAKE EATER 3D, a new 3D experience reimagined from one of the most popular Metal Gear Solid titles of the past.
In the aftermath of World War II, the world was torn between East and West. It was the beginning of a new era: the Cold War.
On October 16, 1962, the President of the United States learned that the Soviet Union had deployed nuclear missiles in Cuba. The world trembled with fear, the prospect of nuclear war looming.
After days of tense negotiations, the Soviets finally agreed, on the 28th, to withdraw their missiles from Cuban soil. With the resolution of this incident, later known as the Cuban Missile Crisis, humanity seemed to have survived a new threat.
However, a secret condition in the agreement ended the crisis. Nokolai Stepanovich Sokolov, a Soviet scientist who defected to the West, was to be sent back to the Soviet Union.
The U.S. government accepted this condition and sent Sokolov back to his homeland. They were unaware that Sokolov was going to design a nightmarish weapon. Now that Sokolov is back, the Soviets are ready to resume its development.
If this weapon is completed, it will mark the beginning of a new era of fear.
August 1964. Finally realizing the urgency of the situation, the CIA devises a plan to retrieve Sokolov. They send the secret unit FOX to Sokolov's research center, located south of the great Soviet fortress of Groznyj Grad. Led by Major Zero, a former SAS member, FOX is a next-generation special forces unit that operates both as a specialized combat group and as a secret intelligence service.
The operational method of the FOX unit involves sending an isolated agent, supported by remote radio assistance, into enemy territory to carry out solo infiltration missions.
August 24. A lone soldier appears out of nowhere. His code name is Naked Snake.

By using the gyroscopic sensor, players will become one with Snake thanks to specialized tilting mechanics throughout the game's design. As Snake climbs trees or crosses bridges and other environmental obstacles, players risk falling depending on the system's balancing.
