Nintendo 64 games running on custom microcode benefited from a much higher polygon count alongside more advanced lighting, animation, physics, and AI routines than its 32-bit competitors.

Its 64-bit R4200 RISC processor runs at over 100 MHz, its RAM is 3 MB (but can be increased with an accessory that will let you see the games in a new light, the Ram Pak) and it can display a palette of 16 million colors.
The soundtrack is provided by a 64-bit DSP system at 44.1 KHz. The exceptional gaming comfort provided by its ergonomic controller resonates with the chosen support, that of the cartridge, which avoids tedious loading times.
