The asciiPad is an officially licensed video game controller for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, created by Asciiware and marketed around 1992.
It features the same buttons as the original SNES controller, but has turbo and auto-fire buttons for Y, X, B, A, L, and R.
It is also equipped with a slow button, which allows the start button to be triggered automatically.
The layout of the buttons is generally identical, but with all these new buttons, the controller is slightly larger than the original and the L and R buttons are angled.
The buttons take on the colors of the Super Famicom controller and are all convex, not semi-concave like on the American controller.
