The Nintendo DS Lite console will be more compact than the previous version, with the following dimensions: 133mm x 73.9mm x 21.5mm, weighing 218 grams (148.7mm x 84.7mm x 28.99mm, and weighing 275 grams for the current version).
In addition to its new design and reduced size, the DS Lite will be equipped with a variable brightness LCD screen. It will now be possible to adjust this brightness to four different levels in order to extend battery life.
