Seeders from Sereïs is a transmedia science fiction universe created over five years by Serge Macasdar and Charbel Fourel. It combines post-humans, space opera, long journeys aboard space arks, lost empires, exobiology, genetic evolution, android development, and much more.
Seeders from Sereïs - Episode 1: Exodus is the first game in a series of ten set in this universe. When an unknown force threatens to make their planet uninhabitable, the Seeders must build arks—massive colony ships—to ensure their survival. Players strive to design the most promising model, which will be selected for production. Each turn, players draw cards from those laid out on the board. They strategically place Negotiator tokens between the desired cards, with their alignment and position determining each player’s influence over the chosen card. Once all Negotiators and tokens are placed, influence is calculated and the winners of each card are determined.
Once obtained, cards can be played to score points and enhance your ark, or discarded to gain resources. Each card represents a different element of the ark (locations, items, personnel), and players will discover unique synergies between cards, as well as the unique power of their color. The asymmetry and complex interactions add layers of strategy that offer a unique experience in every game.
