In Small World of Warcraft, players compete for the conquest and control of a world too small to accommodate everyone.
Small World of Warcraft takes place in the fantastic world of Azeroth, where the races of the Alliance and the Horde — including Orcs, Dwarves, Trolls, and Worgens — clash in a cataclysmic conflict. In this game, players choose combinations of special powers and races from the Warcraft universe, such as Pandaren Portal Mages or Goblin Herbalists, and vie for control of Azeroth. To achieve this, they occupy legendary territories and seek to seize powerful artifacts. However, every empire is destined to fall; players must be ready to put an overextended race into "decline" and lead a new one to the head of Azeroth.
Specifically, on each turn, you can either use the different tokens of your fantasy race to occupy (usually) adjacent territories, possibly eliminating weaker enemy races along the way, or abandon your race and let it decline. A declining race is indicated by flipping the tokens to their black and white side. At the start of the game or after beginning decline, you choose a new race/power combination at the start of your turn. The 16 races and 20 powers are randomly paired in each game.
At the end of your turn, you score one coin for each territory occupied by your races. You can have one active race and one declining race simultaneously on the board. Your total occupation varies according to the special abilities of your race and the territories it occupies. At the end of the last turn, the player with the most coins wins the game.
