Stormrise is a real-time strategy game. The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic future, as Earth has been devastated by a cataclysm.

Now desert-like, the planet is caught in a conflict between two surviving factions: the Echelon, a technologically advanced people, and the Sai, more tribal but well adapted to their new environment.

The game features an unusual control system and maps that emphasize the concept of overhang.
