At the start of Stranger Things: The Mind Flayer's Attack, each player takes a Character tile representing a character from the Netflix series Stranger Things. You will also receive a card indicating whether you are a sane hero or possessed by the Mind Flayer.
A game is played over several rounds and pits two teams against each other: the Sane versus the Possessed. As a sane character, you must resist the Mind Flayer’s attacks to win. As a possessed character, you try to convert all the sane characters or eliminate them before the game ends. On your turn, draw a card and give it to another player to help them, eliminate them, or make them switch teams.
At the end of the game, if at least one sane character remains in play, all sane characters win the game. Otherwise, the possessed characters win!
