Super Mario 64, the successful 3D platform game for the Nintendo 64, arrives on Nintendo DS with new features that fully utilize both screens, the touchscreen, and the wireless multiplayer of the new handheld console.
New characters, levels, and puzzles await players. In addition to Mario, players can take on the roles of Yoshi, Luigi, and even Wario, each with different abilities essential for collecting the 150 Power Stars hidden in the castle and its surroundings.
Play in Adventure mode, discover a multitude of new touchscreen mini-games, or challenge up to three friends in wireless Versus mode, accessible with a single DS game card.
The upper screen displays the main action, while the lower screen is used for mini-challenges, controls (such as emulating the analog stick), and a map/radar screen for battles.
