3? 2? 1? LET'S GO! Get ready to launch your opponents off the stage in this ultimate action game! A faster gameplay mechanic, new items, new attacks, new defensive options, new techniques, and much more will allow you to experience epic clashes at home or on the go!

Everyone to the fight! Various modes and options allow you to play with others! In Smash mode, you can select your stages and choose your rules for battles involving up to eight players! In Team Smash, you can also form a team of 3 or 5 fighters to face the opposing team. And that's just the beginning! The spirits system allows you to simulate battles between characters from an unprecedented number of series! How many spirits will you manage to obtain? While primary spirits enhance your fighters' stats, support spirits give them additional abilities. Equipped with a primary spirit and support spirits, a fighter becomes overpowered!

Over 100 stages! The reintroduced stages have also been improved, and all stages have a Battle Field version as well as a Final Destination version. The stages contain many mechanisms to discover: some change shape, and others may suddenly be visited by surprise guests. Additionally, the Stage Change option allows you to choose two stages, which will automatically alternate after a certain time! Choose your favorite music and select it as background music. There are over 800 in total!

Make good use of the items! Get closer to victory by exploiting the full potential of the items that appear in the stages! Pokémon can spring from Poké Balls and Master Balls to assist you in battle, and guest characters can emerge from assist trophies to give you a boost!
