The chronoscepter was shattered thousands of years ago in an effort to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.
The Campaigner has built a huge tuning board that he plans to use to enlarge and pervert the power of the chronoscepter in order to break the barriers between ages and rule the universe.
Turok promised to find the eight pieces of the chronoscepter scattered throughout the Lost Land and to put an end to the evil plot of the Campaigner.
