Series 1 contains the first 250 cards of the Upper Deck 2024-25 base set. Each year, the Upper Deck base set is the most collected base set in hockey. It includes 198 veteran cards, 49 Young Guns rookie cards, and three checklist cards. The iconic Young Guns are the most anticipated rookie cards of the season.

Showcased by the classic Exclusives (numbered to 100), High Gloss (numbered to 10), and the Clear Cut parallels exclusive to hobby players, as well as the Outburst Red parallels (numbered to 25) and Outburst Gold (numbered 1 of 1), the extensive range of parallels in the complete base set offers collectors a large number of desirable cards to chase.

UD Canvas, a longtime favorite among collectors, featuring a collection of the best stars of the League as well as the best of the Young Guns. Series 1 contains the first 120 cards of this intra-series set.
- Collect four (4) UD Canvas cards per box, on average, and keep an eye out for the black and white parallels as well as the printing plates of the 120 cards.
The Population Count acetate insert is back! There are seven different print runs (1000, 500, 100, 50, 25, 10, and 1) of this popular intra-series set mimicking slab cards and featuring top stars and rookies. Everyone will be chasing the low print versions! The last 30 cards of this set will be available in series 2.
The Dazzlers set is also back for another season! These stunning cards feature a new design for the 2024-25 season and are available in blue and pink versions. Dazzlers is an intra-series set of 150 cards, and Series 1 contains the first 50 cards. The checklist mainly includes star veterans, but there are also a few rookies sprinkled in!

New inserts (and UD portraits)! From historic and original Young Guns cards infused with art to hologram cards, Series 1 offers an impressive range of new insert sets:
- Aimbot: each card represents one of the top scorers in the League shooting at goal while showing, via targets, the opening(s) the player sees before shooting.
- Checkpoint: this set celebrates grinders and the "Checking" aspect of the game.
- City Satellites: the checklist is made up exclusively of superstars. Each card features an action image of the player's full body with a satellite view of their hometown in the background.
- UD Portraits: Not only is the theme of this eternal favorite set refreshed every season, but the 2024-25 edition also benefits from a paper stock refresh. Series 1 contains the first 30 cards (all veteran stars) of this intra-series set. Collectors can complete their 2024-25 UD Portraits set with Series 2, which will feature the rookie versions!
* The four inserts are printed on aluminum cardboard and there are Speckle, Black, Red (#'d up to 99) and Gold (#'d up to 10) parallels of each!

- A-Lines: Each card represents the three players of the first line of the 32 teams.
- Breaking News: This set recognizes the best moments of the 2023-24 season, each card providing a brief description of the moment and an image of the play in which the moment occurred.

- Young Guns Renewed: Each card in this set is a replica of a previous Young Guns card, but with a twist: each is imbued with an original illustration by Luke the Cardist. Series 1 will feature notable Young Guns up to the 2013-14 season.
* Collect three (3) Young Guns Renewed cards per box, on average, and look for exclusive parallels (numbered up to 100) and High Gloss (numbered up to 10), as well as printing plates!
- Gaming: Series 1 offers a set of 100 cards on the gaming theme, divided into four subsets of 25 cards each: Gaming Co-Op (two teammates with four category comparisons), Gaming FOV (a single player photographed from behind so you can see their "field of vision"), Gaming PvP (two players from different teams - one in their home jersey and the other in their away jersey - simulated to face off), and Gaming XP (features each player's "experience level").
